How to Snap Your Fingers and Finally Achieve Healthy Body Weight
You’re really not going to like hearing this…

The diet you’re currently on isn’t going to work.  See, I knew you weren’t going to believe me.

But before you close out this window, think about it for a moment…

The type of diet you’re on—or any type of diet in general—restricts calories in order to help you lose weight, right?  We agree on this basic assumption of dieting, correct?

The calorie restriction that most diet plans adhere to is geared to help you lose weight.  But it may not always work in this manner.  In fact, some diets may actually INCREASE your body fat gain…

…and your WEIGHT!

Definitely not what you’re expecting when you join a weight loss group…buy the latest diet book on the market…or even when you’re eating that bland piece of chicken and dressing-less salad.

But the sad fact is: It’s true!

Some diets may actually spike your weight and fat gain.  And you know where that leaves you?  Fat…frustrated…and depressed that you’re not making any gains.

And this, my friends, is why you need to take a good, hard look at your relationship with food and why you may need to change your whole approach if you want to “fix” your broken diet (or metabolism).

Why Dieting Doesn't Work

When you ask your friends or even family members about their diet, they usually respond with the following

“Oh, I’ve been doing Paleo, you should try it!”

OR:

“I can eat whatever I want using the FLEX eating approach—want to know more?”

OR:
“I’m always hungry, but that’s just my metabolism burning fat!”

Most people know—and fully understand—that you’re going to be eliminating some of your favorite foods from your plan for a long (or short) period of time.  Things like desserts, pasta, breads, and pie (yes, I said pie) are going to be considered off limits!  You’re going to be constantly hungry because you’re cutting your calories to pretty low levels—all in order to drop a pound or two.

Sound familiar?

But that’s the least of your worries.

Not only are you cutting way back on your calories, you’re also hitting the gym (to burn off even more calories) with pretty much ZERO energy or stamina to make it through the workout.

Does it work?

Short-term, yes it will work.  But long-term, you’re not going to be as successful changing your body and keeping up with your weight loss.
Why?

Most people go on a plan as a way to reach a short-term goal—to lose weight in 30, 60, or 90 days, etc.

But here’s the problem:

Most people can’t stick to a low-calorie diet for very long.  And when you combine that with INTENSE exercise, the rate of failure skyrockets!

This leaves you with quite a few angry people who are frustrated that the scale isn’t moving!

Sure, you would think that someone who is cutting back on certain foods—or eliminating food groups altogether—would lose weight, but it may not work as you would expect.

You would also think that a person that completely restricts calories and exercises every day is going to have a rocking body and look unreal naked…

…but it may not work that way either.  In fact, most of those people may actually be HEAVIER, and FATTER than they were before they started!

You need to remember one important point:

Exercise is a way to make your body adapt…grow stronger…and become a heck of a lot more efficient at burning calories (both eaten and stored).

And in order to make those adaptations occur, you need to live by one important rule:
CUSTOM JAVASCRIPT / HTML

EAT. MORE. FOOD.

Now, before you start commenting on this article that you’re going to get fat…or you’re going to pack on the pounds…

You’re not.  Hear me out for a moment…

If you eat the right mix of nutrients (meaning the RIGHT combination of proteins, fats, and carbs) and in the RIGHT amounts (a lot more than you’re currently eating), then you will probably see some pretty fantastic results.
You’re probably going to see:

• More lean muscle mass (muscle = faster metabolism)
• Tremendous amounts of energy
• An immune system to be proud of (never get sick again (maybe)
• Faster and stronger METABOLISM
• LESS body fat and weight
• A better success rate at maintaining your results for the long haul.

But you won’t see this on those popular diet plans.  The reason for this is simple:

When you restrict your calories, you’re restricting the nutrients your body needs to grow and function at the top levels it can.

(You’re literally taking everything you did in the gym and throwing it in the garbage.)

That’s not all…check out this little nugget of information:

The main reason why low-calorie diets don’t work is because it’s not sustainable.  Your body NEEDS food to survive and cutting out those foods is going to make you crave them even more.

It also causes shifts in your body that limit the amount of fat and weight you’re going to lose.

And, this is all due to a slowing of your metabolism, a depletion of energy, and a lack of motivation and drive to complete high, intense—or really any workout—at all.

So what should you do?

The Solution

It’s relatively easy and something the gurus won’t tell you.

BUT:

You need to EAT MORE FOOD!

Yes, it goes against every rule you’ve ever been told about losing weight and maintaining your weight loss, but it’s true—and backed by research!

A recent study showed that people (subjects) who ate more food, lost more weight and body fat than those consuming a lower-calorie diet.

So why does this approach work so well?

It’s simple:

“High energy intake appeared to prevent fat gain in part because it was associated with a higher resting metabolic rate.”

There it is…eating more food could result in a FASTER and STRONGER metabolism!
Furthermore, the authors of the study said: “Counter to the energy surfeit model of obesity, results suggest that increasing energy expenditure may be more effective for reducing body fat than caloric restriction, which is currently the treatment of choice for obesity.”

In Conclusion

For those of you that have been dieting for years, you’ve probably started to notice a shift in your body.  You may have noticed that it’s harder to lose weight and keep it off for the long-term.

And that’s because restricting your calories may not work for you.

In fact, it may:

• Increase your body fat
• Decrease your sex drive
• Tank your energy
• Destroy your muscle mass
• Cause higher fatigue rates
• Kill your stamina
 • Plus, a heck of a lot more symptoms

So now you know firsthand that dieting may not be the right approach when it comes to changing your body and losing weight.

The main reason why dieting may not work is it slows down your metabolism, which leads to broken weight loss dreams.

And you already know what happens when you have a broken metabolism…

MORE body fat and less weight loss overall! The solution, however, to fixing your broken diet may be very simple and very effective…

EAT MORE FOOD.  Studies show that higher-calorie diet plans may speed up your metabolism and burn more body fat (speeds up your weight loss better than low-calorie diets can.

So…

If you want to look good naked…lose weight…and have some definition in your muscles, then you may want to try increasing your caloric intake.

This may “fix” your diet and get your metabolism firing again!
